«My grandmother enjoyed telling lies, or at least, I liked to think that it was a divertissement for her, and that after all, it was just her way to tell her truth. One day she told me: remember to look for the bear! Then in between, life passed, and I forgot many things.» Camilla Parini assembles and deconstructs an idea of family, identity belonging, and memory through narrative remembering and one-to-one encounters.

Mujer en cinta de correr sobre fondo negro is a performance but above all an x-ray of the humble neighborhoods of any city. An actress who moves like a bull in its pen, like a little girl in a baseball field, like a guerrilla in the rain forest. This story is laughter and thought. The artist makes the world “happen” right on her stage tapis roulant.

For Kick Ball Change, Charlotte Dumartheray and Kiyan Khoshoie decide to re-learn acrobatic rock'n'roll, a discipline they practised together during their teenage years. Since 2021, they have been training with a former world champion in the discipline. Will they be ready for the championship of their dreams? It all starts as a simple competition and ends as a loop we can't get out of, to become a danced metaphor for human relationships.

Two girls and two boys obsessed with sports and the voice of a coach who dreams of a change. Liberatutti wants to laugh and make the audience laugh about certain aspects of sports. Certain things you hear and see in locker rooms, on playing fields, in films and in sports newspapers have, unintentionally, considerable comic potential. But why has sport become an increasingly spectacular and all-encompassing activity, where every defeat is no longer an opportunity to learn but a personal failure?

A disturbing and corrosive game of mise en abyme.

This year, in the presence of the President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset, the Federal Office of Culture will present the Swiss Performing Arts Awards at the LAC theatre as part of the FIT Festival in Lugano. During the award ceremony, the 13 winners and their distinctions will be presented to the audience, including the Swiss Grand Award for the Performing Arts / Hans Reinhart Ring 2023, awarded to dancer and choreographer Cindy Van Acker.

Alcune cose da mettere in ordine is the story of a woman just over the threshold of sixty who begins to ask questions about life's journey, an echo of us all. An inner and real journey toward something, an assemblage of events, poignant, ironic, in the game that life plays in an attempt to reshape a human dimension perhaps, today, lost.

Elogio della vita a rovescio focuses on the relationship between sisters: one of the themes explored extensively by South Korean writer Han Kang. Not only in the best known The Vegetarian, but also in Convalescence and The White Book, where the power of this bond is revealed, each time through different plots. On stage we see only the sister who thinks she has made it through, the one who 'from childhood had possessed that innate strength of character necessary to make her way in life'.
