San Sebastian's LABO FESTIVAL

La Chachi rearranges the dance, inverting its main structure, the verticality, to take it to a new terrain, the horizontality. A contemporary flamenco that moves. At ground level, more human, visceral and cathartic.

Diary Sur

"Los inescalables Alpes, buscando a Currito' is a kind of “rociero exorcism ", a "purge" of all evils [...] La Chachi moves in a 60-minute improvisation, like a body "in constant pilgrimage, that doesn't stop, that goes to ecstasy to find itself".

40th Autumn Festival

Breaking, intense, hypnotic, masterful, visceral are some of the adjectives that the show has garnered wherever it has been presented.

Punk, visceral, electrifying.

The burning desire to see a loved one again, and to that end, to overcome the impossible is the endless struggle captured in the title and the dance of La Chachi. The Andalusian choreographer enchants the audience with her intense and deeply personal style of flamenco that honours tradition whilst introducing elements of krump and a punk sensibility. A dance performance that merges with a concert, in which the music feeds an avalanche that engulfes everything in its path. At the heart of the turmoil: La Chachi’s body, bursts of flamenco, and the dizzying heights of the highest peaks.
